Apr 30, 2017 Hello All, I was trying to download the ESXi 6.0 today but it seemed not working. I have logged in and reached the screen shown below, but both the 'Start Download Manager' and 'Manual Download' link provided no. ESXi 6.0 Driver Rollup ISO with updated drivers (Includes VMware Tools). Boot your server with this ESXi Driver Rollup image in order to install ESXi with updated drivers. ESXi requires 64-bit capable servers.

VMware Migration Assistant pre-checks take a long time to respond when the database machine is not accessible
During migration, in very rare cases, if the database machine is not accessible, the Migration Assistant takes from 10 to 15 minutes to error out. The following error messages are logged in the UpgradeRunner.log file: error: [Errno 10054] An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host nnnn-nn-nnT00:09:40.358Z ERROR __main__ Cannot continue upgrade story because of -- General error: error(10054, 'An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host') (cause VC_GENERAL_ERROR) nnnn-nn-nnT00:09:40.359Z INFO output.requirements_result_producer Persisting preupgrade result :[ { Note: You might also encounter this issue when performing export operations.
Workaround: To resolve the issue, perform the following steps:
After migration from vCenter Server 5.5 to vCenter Server Appliance 6.0 Update 2, the Virtual SAN health event/alarm daemon might stop working
After you migrate from vCenter Server 5.5 to vCenter Server Appliance 6.0 Update 2, the Virtual SAN health event and alarm daemon might stop unexpectedly due to slow start of the VPXD, specific to the migration process. Because the daemon stops, you cannot clean the existing Virtual SAN health alarms in the vCenter Server even after the actual problem is solved and also you cannot trigger new Virtual SAN health events and alarms.
Workaround: To resolve this issue, restart the Virtual SAN health service for the vCenter Server Appliance by logging in to the appliance and running the following command:
/etc/init.d/vmware-vsan-health restart
Syslog Server or ESXi Dump Collector installed and configured on the same source vCenter Server 5.5.x machine causes an error in the vCenter Server settings
After a successful migration, an error is seen in vCenter Server > Manage > Settings, if the Syslog Server or the ESXi Dump Collector is installed and configured on the same source vCenter Server 5.5.x machine.
Workaround: None.
VMware Migration Assistant fails on Windows vCenter Server 5.5
VMware Migration Assistant on Windows vCenter Server 5.5 with an external Oracle database fails when the ODBC DSN is configured with a non-ASCII or a high-ASCII name.
Workaround: Perform the following steps while vCenter Server service is running:
Attempts to migrate to vCenter Server Appliance 6.0 Update 2 might fail if vCenter Orchestrator is installed
Attempts to migrate a Windows vCenter Server 5.5 instance with an external database that is configured with vCenter Orchestrator (known as vRealize Orchestrator in vSphere 6.0) in the same database to vCenter Server Appliance 6.0 Update 2M on PostgreSQL might fail. The installation reports PostgreSQL firstboot failure and error messages similar to the following are displayed in the PostgreSQL log: nnnn-nn-nn 11:27:09.571 UTC nnnnnnnn.nnnn 0 vco postgres ERROR: INSERT has more expressions than target columns at character 4928 nnnn-nn-nn 11:27:09.571 UTC nnnnnnnn.nnnn 0 vco postgres STATEMENT: insert into VMO_ResourceElementContent values The issue occurs due to the different release cycles of vCenter Orchestrator and vCenter Server. For more information, see KB 2147264.
Workaround: Perform the following steps to prevent the migration of vCenter Orchestrator data by changing the table structure of VMO_ResourceElementContent table:
Note: Backup the vCenter Server database before you start the procedure.
